oil in the gulf...

I know the Gulf is filled with good ol black slick but i would still eat that seafood than shrimp i had hear in san fran. Im really hoping it was just cooked wrong but it was fried so u really have to mess that up. Great time at the Wharf this evening. Enjoying some relaxing time while a bunch of guys went out to the Giants Game and out in the city!

well i know i haven't been on lately but we have been so busy with stuff everyday all day long. well lets start with yesterday. we went over all the rules safety mgt. plan crisis mgt. plan all that fun stuff! it wasn't bad we got it knocked out quick and all in one day! we then went to a friendship visit her in San Fran. and it was amazing. we played basketball against these people of all ages with disabilities and i will tell you one thing they were GOOD! i did manage to score one basket i was happy but sadly they won! ( the wildcats was there team name) after that some Pi Alpa's from UC Berkley had a sponsored meal for us delicious pizza. i will tell you I'm really starting to love pizza and turkey sandwiches. i will say you learn to try new things when you eat the same thing over and over. for instance breakfast consist of half a bagel and half a banana and a small cup of cereal. Peanut Butter and bagel good, cream cheese and bagel good, peanut butter and creme cheese on bagel well that's for tomorrow. So you will have to read tomorrow post. lunch 2 meat one cheese. so i get 2 turkey one cheese mustard lettuce and hot sauce lots of it. can really turn a plain sandwich to a very delicious sandwich. Today we woke up at 530 again and packed and breakfast then we did a few hours of skill training and such! I passed so i get to ride! whooo! then we went to the golden gate bridge to take our team pictures! it was one of the most incredible things i have seen! lastly we came back here and our headed to the fishermen wharf here in a few min. so i gotta run! hope everyone is doing well miss y'all all!

its game time!

well i made it in yesterday with just one delay in Los Angles. That airport looks alot cooler on the movies than in real life, but its all good. Our shuttle took 45 min to get us from the airport to the hotel we got for this one night but we made it!!! Zack and I walked around San Bruno where our hotel is and decided we would eat at "Fat Wong's" since it was that or any other asain style buffet name you can thing of. It was ok i wasnt really sure what i was ordering becuase the menu was in Japanesse. Then we walked back to the hotel and were gonna go in to San Fran via the BART system. Long story short the lady at the desk told us it was 1.5 mile walk well we never saw it until we got to the mall and got what we needed there i think shes not very good with distance cause the station and mall were together and it was 4 miles!!! We then just got a taxi for the way home.

moving on to today....

i am packing up my stuff now and about to head back to the airport in about 2 hours to finally meet Push America and the rest of my team! I am so excited its finally here! im not sure when i will have internet again but i will post asap! hope all is well with everyone! love yall

TRAVEL DAY!!!!

well i can blame dad for all the stops but I'm very happy its giving me to time to soak it all in and enjoy the fact that he paid for it! thanks dad! i am sitting in the airport in Austin, TX first flight went well it was a whole thirty minutes long. it went well except for the landing... the pilot brought the nose down pretty hard. but I'm safe and sound for the time being so i cant complain. o ya i almost forgot there was this what i thought was a sweet little old lady with a dog on her lap a few seats up. the fight attendant preceded to tell her she would need to put her dog under the seat for the flight because it was policy. that sweet little lady was no longer a sweet little lady she made a scene thinking that would help her case i guess... well she was wrong! her little poodle did just fine under the seat.

hopefully i have some more entertaining stories thought my travels. i am off to find food before my flight at 1225! hope everyone is doing well talk to y'all soon!

KEEP AUSTIN WEIRD!!!

well everybody its here! Journey of Hope i am sitting looking around at nothing but bags that need to be packed, a bike that needs to be packed, and a bunch of little things the guy at the bike shop told me i will need to pack as well. i thought in the mean time i would let everyone know what is going on. i leave at 6:30 in the morning tomorrow to head to the airport to go out to San Fran. i will be there until we leave crossing the golden gate bridge sunday morning. this is something i have been looking forward to for over 11 months now.Thank you so much for the support of all yall have shown me and through all the donations made over the past 6 months. i have raised over 5,000 dollars! mom is gonna help me pack so thats all for now but Thank You again everyone that has helped me get this far!

T-minus 3 days

hey everyone this is my first post and i am trying to learn how to use this. Well.... i leave for San Fran Tuesday morning so keep me in yalls prayers that all the flights are on time and such i will post again later but in the mean time I'm enjoying these last couple days at home and I'm off to some graduation parties.
